Superintendent of Police Aisha Kayongo hailed the 2025 African Women’s Martial Arts Leaders Workshop for empowering women in sports with essential leadership skills.
The four-day event, held yesterday in Uganda under the African Women in Sports Initiative, brought together 24 participants from eight African countries.
12 officers took part in the initiative and received training in conflict management, mental health, leadership, and teamwork.
The workshop aimed to strengthen women’s leadership and promote regional collaboration in martial arts.
