Since joining the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Namyalo Hadijja has been at the forefront of empowering communities, strengthening the NRM, and championing development across Uganda. Her hands-on leadership continues to touch lives and build a brighter future.
1. Empowering the Grassroots
Through initiatives like “Abanaku Tweyambe”, Hajjat Namyalo has equipped youth, women, and slum communities with tools and resources sewing machines, carpentry kits, boda-boda motorcycles to start businesses, create jobs, and boost incomes.
She has also provided startup capital and business tools to market vendors, butchers, and youth groups, uplifting local economies and fostering self reliance.
2. Supporting Communities
Hajjat Namyalo has led massive food relief campaigns during Ramadan and Eid, bringing hope and sustenance to thousands of families.
She has invested in education and skills development, including UGX 3 million to Namasuba College of Commerce and vocational equipment for learners, empowering the next generation.
3. Mobilising Youth and Women
Hajjat Namyalo prioritises youth and women empowerment, delivering vocational training, sports events, and digital engagement programs that enhance skills, civic participation, and political awareness.
Campaigns like “Settle for the Best” inspire young people to make informed choices, shaping Uganda’s future leadership.
4. Strengthening the NRM and Political Participation
She has revitalised grassroots mobilisation, leading village to village campaigns and building strong local support networks.
Through initiatives like “Vote Protectors”, she ensures electoral integrity while rallying citizens behind President Yoweri Museveni and the NRM’s vision of continuity, unity, and development.
5. Health and Social Advocacy
Hajjat Namyalo champions public health awareness, including HIV prevention campaigns and free medical outreach, ensuring communities stay healthy and productive.
