Uganda Motor Vehicle Registration Authority (MVR) has announced that all motor vehicle registration services are now fully operational. This follows a temporary disruption that affected certain registration processes.
Authorities are reminding first-time vehicle owners to exercise caution and avoid being defrauded during registration. The MVR has provided an online vehicle registration monitoring dashboard that allows users to verify the status of their number plates and registration process. The tool can be accessed at: https://portal.mvr.go.ug.
MVR urges all vehicle owners to rely on official channels for registration and to report any suspicious activities to prevent scams.
