H.E. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, has congratulated H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on his re-election as President of the Republic of Uganda.
In a message addressed to President Museveni, President Putin conveyed his best wishes and acknowledged Uganda’s electoral process, noting the longstanding cordial relations between the two countries.
Putin expressed confidence that President Museveni’s continued leadership would further strengthen Russian–Ugandan relations and advance mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
Putin also wished President Museveni good health and success in his new term, reaffirming Russia’s commitment to deepening ties with Uganda based on friendship, cooperation, and shared interests.
