President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has extended warm congratulations to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni upon his re-election as President of the Republic of Uganda.
Mohamud commended President Museveni’s leadership, under which Uganda has recorded notable progress in national development and played a significant role in promoting peace and stability within the region.

Mohamud further reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to strengthening the long-standing brotherly relations between the two countries.
President Mohamud expressed readiness to continue working closely with Uganda to advance shared interests in security, development, and regional cooperation for the benefit of both nations and the wider Horn of Africa and East African region.
