Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja Commissions Health Facility Upgrades Ahead Of AFCON

Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja commissioned the upgrade works for health facilities in Hoima and Masindi Districts as our country prepares to host the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) next year.

The facilities include Hoima Regional Referral Hospital, Masindi General Hospital, and Buseruka Health Centre III in Hoima, which will be upgraded to a Health Centre IV. Hoima Regional Referral Hospital and Masindi General Hospital will undergo major infrastructural upgrades.

We are enhancing our healthcare system to respond to the medical needs associated with the AFCON tournament.

Nabbanja encouraged the residents of Hoima and Masindi to take advantage of the opportunities created by AFCON.
